DMCA Policy

Last Updated: May 20, 2025

Vorlixo respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users of its platform to do the same. This Digital Millennium Copyright Act Policy ("DMCA Policy") describes how Vorlixo responds to claims of copyright infringement submitted in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act and similar applicable laws.

1. Reporting Copyright Infringement

If you believe that content available on or through our platform infringes one or more of your copyrights, you may submit a written notice ("Takedown Notice") to our designated copyright agent. To be effective, your Takedown Notice must include all of the following information:

a. Identification of the copyrighted work: A description of the copyrighted work or works that you claim have been infringed. If multiple works are covered by a single notice, a representative list of such works is acceptable.

b. Identification of the infringing material: A description of the material that you claim is infringing and that you request be removed or disabled, along with information reasonably sufficient to permit us to locate that material on our platform (such as a URL).

c. Contact information: Your full legal name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.

d. Good faith statement: A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.

e. Accuracy statement: A statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or are authorised to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

f. Signature: A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorised to act on their behalf.

2. Designated Copyright Agent

Takedown Notices must be submitted to our designated copyright agent using the contact details below:

We recommend submitting Takedown Notices via email to ensure timely processing. Notices submitted by post may experience processing delays.

3. Our Response to Takedown Notices

Upon receipt of a valid and complete Takedown Notice, Vorlixo will take the following steps:

a. Review the notice to confirm it meets the requirements set out in Section 1 above.

b. Remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material promptly where technically feasible and where the notice is deemed sufficient.

c. Notify the user who posted the material that it has been removed or disabled, where reasonably practicable.

d. Provide the affected user with information about submitting a Counter-Notice as described in Section 4 below.

Vorlixo reserves the right to decline action on notices that are incomplete, factually insufficient, or submitted in bad faith.

4. Counter-Notice Procedure

If you believe that material you posted was removed or disabled as a result of a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a written counter-notice ("Counter-Notice") to our designated copyright agent.

To be effective, your Counter-Notice must include:

a. Identification of the material that was removed or disabled and the location where it appeared before removal.

b. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of a mistake or misidentification.

c. Your full legal name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.

d. A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the courts in your location, and that you will accept service of process from the person who filed the original Takedown Notice.

e. Your physical or electronic signature.

Upon receipt of a valid Counter-Notice, Vorlixo may restore the removed material no sooner than ten (10) and no later than fourteen (14) business days after receipt, unless our designated copyright agent first receives notice that the original complainant has filed a legal action seeking a court order to restrain the alleged infringement.

5. Repeat Infringers

Vorlixo maintains a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are deemed to be repeat infringers. A user may be classified as a repeat infringer if they have been the subject of multiple valid Takedown Notices or if they repeatedly post content that infringes third-party intellectual property rights.

Vorlixo reserves the right to determine, in its sole discretion, what constitutes a repeated pattern of infringement sufficient to warrant account termination.

6. False or Misleading Notices

Please be aware that submitting a Takedown Notice or Counter-Notice that contains materially false or misleading information may expose you to legal liability, including claims for damages, legal costs, and other remedies available under applicable law. Before submitting a notice, you should consult a qualified legal professional if you are unsure whether the content in question infringes your rights.

7. No Legal Advice

This DMCA Policy is provided for informational purposes only. Nothing in this policy constitutes legal advice, and Vorlixo does not represent that compliance with this policy will ensure compliance with applicable copyright law. Users are encouraged to seek independent legal counsel regarding any copyright-related matters.

8. Modifications to This Policy

Vorlixo reserves the right to update or modify this DMCA Policy at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting the revised policy on our platform with an updated effective date. Continued use of our platform following any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
